Volunteer for us
Uniting Friends welcomes volunteers from all walks of life. Whether you are keen to help deliver our programmes, run activities or take on the role of support worker there is something for you. Volunteering could be for just a couple of hours a week or full time, we would love to hear from you.
All volunteers will receive appropriate training and support throughout.
Uniting Friends has been providing quality services to people with a disability since 1996. In recent years the way social services are funded has changed drastically and the result is that the funding we receive no longer covers the services that we wish to provide. As a forward looking and constant developing organisation we need your support to achieve this. Donations are always welcome and can be made via our MyDonate page using the button at the bottom of this page.
Fundraise for us
Collect donations every time you shop online using the 'easyfundraising' service - it doesn't cost you a penny! To join in, click on the button at the bottom of this page.
If you wish to take part in a sponsored event to raise money for us, you can set up a fundraising page online using a service such as JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving. You can also download a paper sponsorship form by clicking on the button at the bottom of this page. Feel free to contact us for more information and to support your fundraising efforts!
Become a Co-op member
We are pleased to announce that we are now in partnership with the Co-op supermarket as an official 'local cause'. Over £20 million has been donated to various 'local causes' since 2016, and we can now get a share of it! We receive more money when you become a Co-op member and then shop at your local Co-op store.
