Why Volunteer for Us?

• We need you! As a charity with ever decreasing funding, Uniting Friends relies on volunteers to help make the service run smoothly.

Where will I be volunteering?

• All based in Ilford, Essex, but you can go on trips in surrounding boroughs, Central London or on short breaks around the UK/abroad

When will I be volunteering?

• You can volunteer as much or as little as you like, we just ask that you are reliable and punctual because people will be relying on you!
• Our daytime services run from 9 am - 4 pm
• Our evening services run from 5 pm - 11 pm
• Our weekend services are anytime on the weekends

What will I be doing?

• If you have something specific in mind, just let us know and we can try to accommodate you
• We need drivers (minibus), administrators, graphic designers, website developers, support workers, activity coordinators, gardeners, and more. If you have a particular skill, let us know!
• We also have a peer mentor scheme

Can I study for a qualification at the same time?

• Yes - we have done this in the past. Contact us to discuss.
