Ways we help Daytime opportunities Getting into work Skills for work We offer a wide range of activities designed to teach members the skills required to get into the world of work. For example: Computer and multimedia classes Cafe training Childcare Event planning Dog walking Stable hand Up-cycling furniture Working on an allotment Supported Employment Opportunities Uniting Friends is dedicated to creating employment opportunities where possible. We currently employ 12 people with a learning disability and our supported work programme includes Assistant Support Workers, administrational roles and activity leads including four DJs to work at the Groovy Cat Club.
