This month, we celebrate women all over the world for International Women’s Day.

At UF Radio, we want to shout loudly about women’s ideas, achievements, and struggles for equal rights. We also aim to bring awareness to our sisters from way back who sacrificed a lot to give us what we have today.

We discuss women who are our heroes or icons. What is it about them that makes them an inspiration? Why do we admire, respect, and love them?

This month’s show discusses the London Mayoral Elections on May 2nd. What does the Mayor do and why is it such an important role? What do you love about your capital city? What worries you about London? These are the key questions we discussed to spark an interesting conversation. We were feeling very proud of our London by the end of the chat, though we also agreed there are things that need to be taken seriously by the next Mayor. We lovingly put together a London themed song list.
