Spring has arrived and the UF Radio team is celebrating the new season. In this show we mark Mother’s Day and talk about how we support ourselves and the people around us. We also take a look at the latest Out There! Evenings Spring Planner and play our popular game 5 Words £5. Inspired by the game made famous by Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston, but with a slightly smaller prize pot. Would you have been a winner?
UF Radio - Winter 2026: "30 Years of the Amazing: A Service Developed For Us, With Us

It all began in 1996 with a befriending service at The Harvester Beehive, The Red House, and The Dick Turpin pubs. We’ve certainly come a long way since then, growing into one of the most inclusive, friendly, user-led organisations around. Tune in to hear what the UF Radio crew have to say about the services they receive today, their plans for 2026, and the latest OTE activities - now revealed and under way.

Brighton Day Trip - Saturday 26th September

A return to Russell's home town, Brighton. A visit to the pier, some crazy golf and lunch at the famous Harry Ramsden’s.

PizzaExpress LIVE: TV Themes - Wednesday 9th September

TV themes with a difference! Enjoy the sounds of the Sam Every (Little) Big Band whilst eating a pizza meal.
Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical - Tuesday 8th September

A live show where you are immersed in the action! Dress as a T bird (guys) or Pink Lady (gals). Due to its immersive nature, this is an outdoor show with no seating. Moving around to watch performances is a necessity.
Basildon Gay Pride - Saturday 5th September

A return to Basildon! Spectate or sing on stage with the wonderful Chamonix.
Rooftop Film Club - Friday 28th August

Our first time visit to this cinema sited on the roof of Stratford car park! Classic film to be announced!
