Our Achievements Uniting Friends has long been recognised for being in the forefront of inspiring, innovative, and cutting edge programmes, many of which have won awards. The Groovy Cat Club, The Hive training café and our organic allotment Sprout There! are just a few to mention. We are also very proud that we currently employ 12 people with learning disabilities to help deliver our services and more opportunities are created wherever possible. Gold Award from the Commissioners for Newham Following an unannounced review in 2017, the Commissioners for Newham gave Uniting Friends a Gold Award for management, quality and the services it delivers. We scored 97/100 which is a remarkable achievement and one that we are extremely proud of. Preferred Provider Status We were awarded preferred provider status in 2014 by the London Borough of Redbridge Commissioning Team. Growing Localities Award Uniting Friends' healthy eating allotment project won a "Highly Commended" award from the City Bridge Trust at the Growing Localities Awards 2016. The project will receive £500 and 10 pairs of gardening gloves, which will help the team to continue their great work.
